Telegram channel reactions let subscribers tap an emoji under a channel post to show how they feel in a quick way. Telegram reactions setup is how a channel admin chooses which reactions are allowed in the settings, and it takes just a few taps. Reactions must be on for subscribers to leave them and for reaction orders to be delivered properly.
Why don't reaction buttons show under my channel posts?
Depending on the settings chosen when the channel was created or by a previous admin, reactions may be turned off or limited to a few emoji. The short answer: choose All or Some under Reactions in your channel settings and the reaction buttons appear right away. A channel with reactions on shows subscriber engagement at a glance, so newcomers see it as an active channel too.
- Subscriber engagement: reactions are lighter than comments, so more people share their opinion.
- Post feedback: seeing which posts drew the most reactions tells you which topics subscribers like.
- First impression: posts with an even spread of reactions make the channel feel alive.
How to turn on Telegram channel reactions
The steps below are similar in both the mobile and desktop apps. Menu names may differ slightly by app version, but the flow is the same. Use an account with channel admin rights.
1. Open Channel Info
Go to your channel and tap the channel name at the top to open the Channel Info screen.
2. Tap Edit
On mobile, tap Edit (the pencil icon) at the top right; on desktop, choose Manage Channel from the menu.
3. Choose Reactions
On the edit screen, find and tap Reactions. Here you can set the range of reactions allowed in your channel.
4. Choose All, Some or None
- All: subscribers can use every default reaction Telegram offers. If you plan to order reactions, this is the easiest choice.
- Some: only the emoji the admin picks can be used. Great when you want to keep only reactions that fit your channel's tone.
- None: reaction buttons are hidden. Use this when reactions are not needed, such as an announcement only channel.
5. Save and check
Once you finish and save, reactions can be tapped under your channel posts from then on. Long press a channel post to check right away that the reaction list appears.
Can you use custom emoji reactions?
Once a Telegram channel receives boosts and levels up, it can use custom emoji as reactions in addition to the default ones. The number and types of custom reactions available depend on the channel level. When your channel level is high enough, a field for adding custom emoji appears on the reactions settings screen. If you want to raise your level, take a look at channel boost services too. There are currently 110 channel boost services, starting from $2.80.
One more thing worth knowing: emoji that are not in the list you chose under Some cannot be tapped by subscribers either. To use a reaction service that delivers a specific emoji, first check that the emoji is turned on in your channel.
How do you order reactions for a post?
Once reactions are on, you can use Telegram reaction services that fill a single post with reactions. 4SNS PLUS currently has 247 reaction services, starting from $0.0051 per 1,000. Some services deliver one emoji only, such as a thumbs up, heart or fire, and others deliver a mix of positive reactions. The service name shows which reactions it delivers.
1. Copy the post link
Long press or right click the post that should receive reactions and choose Copy Link. The link looks like t.me/channelname/123. Be sure to enter the link of one post, not the channel link.
2. Choose a reaction service
Find Telegram reactions in the price list and choose a service with the emoji you want. If your channel's reaction setting is Some, double check that the emoji is turned on.
3. Set the quantity and order
A quantity that suits the post's views looks natural. Your order total is the price per 1,000 times the quantity and is shown before you pay. When you order, the amount is taken from your balance and delivery starts right away.
Reactions are on but still can't be tapped? Check these
When reactions still do not show after you change the setting, it is usually for one of a few simple reasons. Check them one by one in the order below and it is quickly solved.
- App version: older apps may not show the reactions menu. Update the Telegram app to the latest version.
- Admin rights: admins without permission to change channel info cannot see the Reactions item. Ask the channel owner for that permission.
- Some setting: choosing Some without picking any emoji is the same as turning reactions off. Pick at least one emoji to use.
- Group vs channel: a group's reaction settings are on its own Group Info screen. Make sure you are changing the channel.
- Saving: if you leave the settings screen without tapping Save or Done, nothing changes.
How should you choose reaction types?
Reactions are a small face that shows your channel's mood. For channels covering information and news, reactions that rate the content, such as thumbs up, clapping and surprise, fit well. Channels about lifestyle and fun often use hearts, laughter and fire. Setting reactions to Some and narrowing them to about 5 to 8 makes it easier for subscribers to choose and keeps the area under your posts neat. Another good approach is to start with All, see which reactions get tapped most, and keep only the popular ones.
How to make reactions look natural
- With views: more reactions than views looks odd, so balance them with a views service.
- Spread across posts: rather than piling them onto one post, spread them evenly over a few recent posts.
- Fit your channel's tone: pick reactions that suit the topic, such as thumbs up or clapping for information channels and laughing emoji for fun channels.
- One at a time: do not place two orders on the same post link at the same time; place the next order after the previous one finishes.
Order with peace of mind
A reaction order needs only the post's public link. No Telegram login code, password or admin rights are needed, and 4SNS PLUS never asks for them. An order that cannot be delivered is canceled automatically and the full amount returns to your balance, and for a partially delivered order the undelivered part is refunded automatically. For services with a refill period, you can request a refill from the order screen within the refill period after the order is completed or partially completed.
Your account is created with a single account token starting with FSP-, with no email or password, and you can top up your balance with USDT, USDC, BTC or another coin from $20 to $5,000. If you run several channels, you can also place reaction orders automatically with API v2.
Services that pair well with reactions
Reactions alone make a post look alive, but matching them with other numbers looks far more natural. Thinking in terms of a single channel post makes this easy to understand.
- Post views: views should comfortably exceed reactions to look natural. Currently from $0.0005 per 1,000.
- Shares: showing how many times a post was forwarded to other chats makes it feel like a post that is spreading. Currently from $0.0185 per 1,000.
- Comments: for channels with a linked discussion group, comments keep the conversation going. Currently from $0.8400.
- Channel boosts: raise your level when you want to unlock custom emoji reactions and stories.
All prices follow the live list, so check the price list right before you order.
